KOEN AJ&K is offering the following positions for Gulpur Hydropower Plant at Barali, Kotli, Azad Kashmir (Pakistan).
1. Position: Shift Control Engineer- Qualification Required: BS Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrotechnics / Mechatronics
- Key Responsibilities: To supervise, monitor and operate the complex via SCADA reliably and efficiently under the direct supervision of Shift Charge Engineer and through prudent utility practice. To assist Shift Charge Engineer in maintaining close liaison with ISMO/RCC/NGC, 113kV Dayal & Kotli Grid Stations for all necessary activities regarding switching operations and plant status. To assist Shift Charge Engineer in tackling emergency situations if any. To identify and report plant defects as soon as possible and liaise with the maintenance section to that effect. To assist Shift Charge Engineer in providing technical input on the safe and efficient operation of plant, especially during restoration of supply after station blackout or system collapse. To assist Senior Charge Engineer in submission of daily station generation, plant tripping report, declaration and re-declaration report to NPCC as per requirements. To prepare daily operational log and assist Senior Shift Charge Engineer in preparation of fault/tripping report/DIR/IIR. To ensure the operation of the complex within technical limits as per SOP PPA. Any other non-routine work/task assigned as per instructions of OM/HOD.
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in operation of power plant. Should have excellent knowledge of plant systems including generators, turbines, GIS, Power Transformers, EDGs and other associated plant auxiliaries through Auto and Manual Operation. Should have experience to control plant operation through SCADA, record data, declarations of DAC/RDAC and PTW. Candidate should be well aware of safety protocols and SOPs (LOTO procedures etc.).

2. Position: Security Officer - Qualification Required: Retired Army officer (Major Rank) with minimum Education level (Bachelor Degree). Key Responsibilities: • Liaison & Coordination with Local Administration, Pakistan Army and Intelligence Agencies for overall security matters. Attend security-related meetings at all levels. Enhance security at site and ensure proper deployment of security elements. Ensure proper functioning of Security Alarm System, CCTV systems, security checkpoints, entry pass systems. Ensure protection of critical plant components including dam structure, powerhouses, offices and residential colonies (Korean and local staff). Prevent sabotage, theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activities. Organize regular training sessions, mock drills, and awareness programs. Supervise proper record of daily deployment and visitor logs etc. Anything in the same field asked by immediate supervisor/manager.
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in security management. Age limit up to 52 years on date of application. Priority to be given to local residents of district Kotli.
